The Empire Entertainment is currently in a major crisis, but Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) will spend his energy driving Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) and her new lover apart in the next episode of "Empire" season 3.

In the previous episodes of season 3, Cookie starts to develop deeper feelings for businessman Angelo Dubois (Taye Diggs) after the rekindling of romance between her and Lucious was cut short when he married Anika (Grace Byers) at the end of season 2. But this does not sit well with Lucious since he still has some feelings for his ex-wife.

According to the synopsis for the episode titled "Chimes at Midnight," Lucious will do everything to stop the blossoming romance between Cookie and Angelo.

However, Cookie's love life will be the least of the problems that the Lyons have to face in the upcoming episode. The synopsis also revealed that Empire Entertainment will experience a major hacking. That will result in several major conflicts between the entire Lyon family as well as the artists under their wing.

The eldest Lyon son, Andre (Trai Byers), will use this opportunity to step up and prove his worth to his father and the company. But he will also be involved in another conflict with his younger brother, Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Grey), since they both fell for Nessa (Sierra A. McClain).

The synopsis also revealed that Jamal (Jussie Smollett) will find himself in the middle of another love triangle.

The synopsis that was posted on TV Guide reads: "The hacking of Empire leads to feuds breaking out between the artists and members of the Lyon family; and Andre tries to use the leak to his advantage. Meanwhile, Lucious sets out to drive Cookie and Angelo apart; at the same time, Jamal finds himself in a love triangle."

The sixth episode of "Empire" season 3 will be aired on FOX on Wednesday, Nov. 6.
