"Dancing with the Stars" season 21 is now on Week 5, which is bound to be an electrifying one as the celeb contestants swap dance partners. The show's much-loved tradition known as the Switch Up, which fans of the show look forward to each year, shuffled the duos. What makes it exciting is that the public got to choose who gets partnered with who.

The list of new couples looks promising and exciting and is sure to bring in surprises and shocks this week. The pairs will surely have their own challenges and advantages with these swaps.

Vine star Hayes Grier recently told People that he's both "excited and terrified" being paired with Allison Holker, who is undoubtedly one of the dance pros that had a strong showing last season (she won first runner up with Riker Lynch) and so far in this season as well with Andy Grammer.

It will also be exciting to see how Nick Carter, who has been on a roll with Sharna Burgess in "Dancing with the Stars" season 21 to date, does with a new partner in the person of Witney Carson, who is originally partnered with potential frontrunner Carlos PenaVega.

Here is the full rundown of the new pairings:

  • Alek Skarlatos (previously paired with Lindsay Arnold) and Emma Slater
  • Alexa PenaVega (previously paired with Mark Ballas) and Derek Hough
  • Andy Grammer (previously paired with Allison Holker) and Sharna Burgess
