Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have been through a lot since son Josh was involved in numerous scandals and now the couple is doing their best to focus on their family.

People reported that Jim Bob and Michelle, who have been married for 31 years, went on a marriage retreat for the weekend in Fort Rock Family Camp and Retreat Center in Arkansas.

The "Fall Marriage Retreat" happened from Friday to Sunday and a series of activities were conducted for the attending couples, according to the retreat center's website.

The website also stated that couples participated in activities that foster team building, with the aim of "rekindling, reviving and renewing any love story."

The retreat was facilitated by Dr. S.M. Davis, a pastor and evangelist.

People also reported that Jessa (Duggar) Seewald and husband Ben, were present at Fort Rock.

In another Duggar family update, Jill (Duggar) Dillard and Jessa were recently spotted in the promo clip for "Counting On," their upcoming show on TLC.

In the teaser, the Duggar sisters were looking back on the challenges their family had faced especially when it was reported that they were among the girls underage Josh molested.

Jill expressed her hurt when she remembered the family's ordeals. "You're angry and hurt and all those emotions all mixed together," she said in the clip, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Despite the family scandal and the fact that their show "19 Kids and Counting" was canceled, the Duggar sisters still got a chance to appear on TV with their own show.

The TLC special focuses on Jill and Jessa and their husbands, Derick Dillard and Ben Seewald.

Although the sisters opened up about their devastation, they still have a positive outlook and are looking forward to the future.

Speaking of the future, it won't be long before Jessa will be giving birth to her first child with husband Ben.

The couple already knows the baby's gender but is firm about their decision to keep it as a surprise for everyone.

More of Jessa and Jill and their lives as the married Duggars will be featured in TLC's three-part special "Counting On," which will premiere in December.
