Viewers' reception for "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of 'F'" during its release in theaters across Japan last April was largely positive. Now fans from across North America are excited about the Western release of the film.

According to Venture Capital Post, FUNimation has announced that Resurrection 'F', or Revival of 'F' will arrive in select theatres in the U.S. from August 4 to 12. The movie was released in cinemas across Japan on 3D, but it is not clear if Revival of 'F' will also be shown in 3D in the U.S.

"Dragon Ball Z: Revival of 'F'" centers on the comeback of Frieza, who's been filled with vengeance and plots to go after Goku and the gang. Frieza resurrects as "Golden Frieza," a more powerful version of himself, who will call upon thousands of soldiers to join him in battle.

Entertainment Weekly has provided an exclusive premiere of the upcoming Dragon Ball Z movies. The clip reveals that Frieza will not waste any more time to go after Goku and other familiar faces and unleashes more power than ever before. On the other hand, Vegeta and Goku will also transform into their ultimate forms to protect the Earth.

After its release in the U.S., the movie will be scheduled to hit Australian cinemas in late winter, according to Anime News Network. The Japanese animated feature will be released with English subtitles and in English-dubbed versions.

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of 'F' is the 15th movie from the Dragon Ball Z film series. It is one of the two Dragon Ball Z movies supervised by Akira Toriyama, the creator of the series.
