"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" just started conducting its open beta test. Publisher Bandai Namco scheduled the open beta to run from Oct. 14 at 1 a.m. PT until Oct. 17 at 1 a.m. PT. This will be the game's final beta test before it rolls out on Oct.25.

Conclusive feedback from the recently started open beta have yet to come in, but fans already gave their reactions to the closed beta test that previously concluded. According to Heavy, participants did not fail to notice the improvements that were made to the game. The new hub world called Conton City is around seven times bigger than the one available in the original game. Now, it has more space for online players, and it said that it should be able to accommodate around 300 of them. Additionally, one will now have the option to fly towards a certain area instead of walking to get there.

Character customization is always a fan favorite feature in almost any game, and "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" provides just that. Bandai Namco even allowed a personalized fighter to gain new levels and develop new forms. Even the base characters and races provide several options such as Earthlings having the Kaio-ken, Flying Nimbus, Power Pole, and Potential Unleashed. Saiyans now also have the Kaio-ken, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, Super Saiyan 3, Super Vegeta, Super Vegeta 2, Future Super Saiyan, and Potential Unleashed options.

Fans can also expect a number of new characters to be included in the upcoming game, and they include Android 17, Cooler, Imperfect Cell, Lord Slug, Majin Vegeta, Super Janemba, and Turles. Other confirmed characters include Zarbon, Dodoria, Goku Black (Day One Pre-Order Exclusive), and Future Trunks (Deluxe Edition Pre-Order Exclusive).

However, Attack of the Fanboy mentioned that the ally AI seems to be a little problematic. Based on the author's own personal experience, his computer-controlled teammate wasn't much of a help during their battles. It simply stood there, and it seems it only observed the game. There is no doubt that these AI allies are highly capable, that is if they snap out of their trance.

Other players also had an issue with big boss characters from the previous game which came with an extra defense meter. It does take a while before one can give them real damage.

Fans are hoping that the issues will be ironed out once the game rolls out.
