Disney Infinity 3.0 new Inside Out play set scheduled for debut

Disney Infinity 3.0 Inside Out (Infinity/Disney)

After initially revealing one of two Star Wars play sets for Disney Infinity 3.0, it looks like there another one will also be debuting.

The play set in mention is the Inside Out play set, the latest film that is set to hit the big screens this June 19, 2015. The new play set comes after the release of more than half a dozen screenshots from Star Wars: Twilight of the Republic which is set to hit stores this coming Fall.

From the looks of it, Disney Interactive will be offering a new style of game play with Inside Out.

In Disney Infinity 3.0 where the Marvel Super Heroes were in focus, it was all about expanding the combat mechanics associated with the super hero bunch. But now it seems that with Inside Out, it will be a totally different platform in the midst.

If you got a chance to catch the trailer of Inside Out, the movie takes place in the mind of Riley's mind. The Emotions (Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness) are tasked to keep Riley in check but everything gets out of hand when Riley catches a glimpse of a scary movie before she goes to sleep resulting causing instability at Imagination Land.

As far as the game is concerned, players who end up playing the game either in single or co-op player mode, try to help Riley's Emotions as they journey out into Imagination Land and defeat the enemies they come across.

Aside from fending off the enemies they encounter at Imagination Land, they have to gather Riley's displaced memories and return them in time before Riley wakes up.

As far as Inside Out, that is the mission that awaits folks who would end up playing it.

Disney Infinity 3.0 is expected to be made available this fall for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, PC, Wii U, iOS and Android.
