"Dishonored 2" is an upcoming stealth action-adventure role-playing game scheduled to be release by Nov. 11. The sequel was featured during the QuakeCon 2016, where attendees were able to witness two of the new things that the game can offer, which include Corvo Attono's Blink ability.
Game developer Arkane Studios decided to freshen up Corvo's set of skills. His abilities remain the same but stronger. His Blink kick now sends its receiver flying through the air with such force, and for a far more personal delivery of an attack, he uses his Blink ability to close the gap before slitting open the opponent's throats, as seen by Vince Ingenito of IGN.
"Dishonored 2" co-director Harvey Smith shared what the fans can expect from the upcoming game, with the help of the players' creativeness.
He said, "We have this whole notion of power trees as opposed to one ability and one upgrade, so with Devouring Swarm now you can have two swarms, or one larger swarm, or a swarm that follows you, for instance."
Unfortunately, this was not part of the demo.
Additionally, a familiar teleportation ability by Daud was also described by Smith. Corvo will also be able to freeze time in the middle of a Blink move. He can then assess the situation again, move around obstacles if needed or change his direction and end up elsewhere, reported Game Radar.
Meanwhile, hardcore fans of "Dishonored" can get the "Dishonored 2" strategy guide from Amazon. This is available in two versions. One version is Standard, which is at US24.99 and contains a complete walkthrough of the game, full coverage of weapons and powers, highly detailed maps and several more. The other version is the Collector's Edition, which is available for US$39.99 and will come with additional bonus content as well as premium hard cover. Both versions will be released with the game.
Publisher Bethesda has set the worldwide release of "Dishonored 2" for Nov. 11 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.
