'Deadpool' movie news: Junkie XL takes the lead

 Marvel

"Deadpool" movie is now working with music composer, Tom Holkenborg, more popularly known as Junkie XL.

Holkenborg confirmed on Oct. 4 via Twitter that "Deadpool" is his next project and said it would start on Monday, Oct. 5, which only means the work has started. One would also easily assume that the film is mostly complete.

Holkenborg's music has been recently heard in "Mad Max: Fury Road." A native from Netherlands, Junkie XL is also the mind behind the music for "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," "The Dark Knight Rises," and "Man of Steel."

Composers don't really get enough credit, but it's important to note the film scores can help add impact to the overall film.

"Deadpool" is another Marvel Comics-based movie about the titular character, who is played by Ryan Reynolds.

The movie will tell the story of Wade Wilson, a former Special Forces operative who became a mercenary, and later on a subject of a rogue experiment that granted him super healing powers.

He then later assumes his other identity — Deadpool.

A little bit of spoilers about the movie was recently revealed by a source of WhatCulture. The source reportedly saw the rough cut of the movie and described it to be great. It was also mentioned that Reynolds did exceptionally well in the movie and that he seemed to be born for the part.

Reynolds first appeared as Wade back in "X-men Origins: Wolverine."

The report also gathered that "Deadpool" movie will feature an X-men cameo.

Meanwhile the upcoming Marvel movie will also star "Gotham's" Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller from "Silicon Valley," "Fast & Furious 6's" Gina Carano, and Ed Skrein from "The Transporter Refueled."

"Deadpool" is directed by Tim Miller, with script by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who wrote "Zombieland."

The movie, which bears the rating R, will be scheduled to hit theaters on Feb. 12, 2016.
