Last week on 'Days of Our Lives', Carson and a henchman are trying to shove Marlena out of the window. Stefano watches all this and ignores Chad's calls.
Meanwhile, Ben meet Abby at the park. They kiss and talk about him changing his surname to Weston. She's upset that he didn't ask her before doing it. He says that it's personal and that it was his given name.
At the hospital, Theresa wakes up after the surgery. Brady tells her that the baby is doing well. He thanks her for going through this for their son. "I helped someone that I love and it's not a bad feeling," she tells him. Later, Melanie arrives and Brady brings her into Theresa's room. Theresa pretends to be happy to see Melanie and informs her that if their son had been a girl they would have called her Melanie, but they decided to call him Tate.
At the DiMera mansion, Abe and Roman ask Chad to keep trying to call Stefano. Finally, he answers and Chad hears Marlena screaming that he's going to kill her. Chad tells his father that he won't let him do this.
"If you hurt Marlena in any way, I will no longer be your son," Chad says.
Later, Roman gets a call from Marlena, who is in Stefano's private jet. Marlena tells him that she's alright, and Stefano tells her that she owes her life to Chad.
