Wednesday on "Days of Our Lives," Zoe talked to Chad, who asked her about Will's article. She said that she would hand it in the following day so she was free for the night. He declined her invitation so she left, passing Kate on the way out. Kate told off Chad for turning Zoe down, but he reminded her that his personal life wasn't her concern. She disagreed and told him that it would be better if he stayed away from Abigail.
At Daniel's place, Daniel and Victor talked about how much they miss Melanie. Victor said that Maggie was affected, too, and that he'd like to plan a family dinner just to make things better. He mentioned Xander, but Daniel had a problem with him and wondered if he ever really turned his life around. Daniel said that a woman told him things about Xander and that he's seen what he has done to Nicole. He said that Xander does not respect him and was putting on an act. Victor left and texted Xander to meet him right away.
In her office, Nicole told Xander that they wouldn't be talking about Daniel and that he should go. He kissed her but Nicole told him that she doesn't like him kissing her at work and pushing her around. He told her that Parker's in town and there's a family dinner, and that she wouldn't be welcome. She wondered if he wanted to end things between them. Xander received a text message and left, and Nicole went on the Internet and found out that Xander has served time for murder.
At the mansion, Victor told Xander that the dinner was off and that it would never happen. He told Xander to stay away from Nicole and warned him not to lie to him.
"Days of Our Lives" will be pre-empted on Friday June 5, but next week, Arianna will celebrate a birthday, and Will and Sonny will put aside their issues to celebrate Arianna's special day. Kate will create drama and reveal that Lucas and Adrienne are sleeping together, and Eve will plot the perfect revenge against Jenn.
"Days of Our Lives" airs Mondays to Fridays at 1 p.m. on NBC.
