Last week on "Days of Our Lives," an older man approached Paige at TBD and offered to buy her a drink. She refused and told him to go away. He insulted her before going. Rory arrived and told her that he admired the way she stood up for herself. She told him to tell everyone that JJ slept with her mother.
In the park, Eve did some research and found out that Laura Horton was institutionalized for mental health issues. Eve came up with a plan to make Jennifer think that she's losing her mind. Paige arrived and told her mother that she got the check she sent for Stanford. Eve was happy about this, but Paige ripped the check in front of her. Paige told her that she wanted nothing to do with her anymore and that she was planning to block all of her calls from now on.
Chad overheard Abigail telling Ben on the phone that she loves him. Chad began to treat her aggressively, and Abigail told him that what happened to them was a mistake. He told her that he only returned to Salem to prove that she still wanted him and that he only slept with her to see if he could. She asked him why he was being so cruel, and he told her that he's a DiMera — cruelty is in his DNA. Abigail left, and Stefano demanded to know what Chad was doing. He knew he's in love with Abigail. Chad retorted that if Stefano only wanted his happiness, he'd stay out of his business. He ran inside and sank to the floor thinking of how much he loves Abigail.
