'Criminal Minds' season 11 spoilers: who are the 'Dirty Dozen' in episode 4?

Sneak peek photo from season 11's "Outlaw" episode CBS Official

Last week's episode of "Criminal Minds" season 11 featured the story of a delusional female unsub who kills brides-to-be she believes are flirting with the object of her affection, her sister's boyfriend.

For this week's episode, the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) is heading to Las Vegas, New Mexico to work on a cold case.

Based on the synopsis, the team will deal with three restaurant workers believed to have been killed in a robbery/homicide incident.

The team then digs into a cold case to find some leads that could help them crack the current case. Given that it is a cold case, it only means that the suspect was never apprehended and is assumed to be on the loose.

In a spoiler tweet, it is mentioned that the death of the restaurant employees appear to be familiar and may be associated with murders in the town from years ago. Does it mean that the team will be going after the same unsub?

The trailer for the upcoming episode titled "Outlaw" also reveals that Dr. Tara Lewis (Aisha Tyler) makes the connection that all the victims were teenagers.

In the preview, it is also shown that David Rossi (Joe Mantegna) seems to figure out that the unsub wants the victims to watch each other as they die.

At the end of the trailer, a masked man with long hair and sunglasses is looking down on someone and says, "You're next."

It's going to be another thrilling episode when "Criminal Minds" returns tonight.

Meanwhile, season 11 introduced the Dirty Dozen during its premiere episode. These people are being targeted by the hitman, who was also introduced as the first episode's villain.

Not only were fans anticipating the reveal of the story, but Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore) was also left puzzled as he was the one present during the time the hitman made the revelation about the dozen.

According to showrunner Erica Messer in a report from TV Guide, more of the Dirty Dozen will be talked about in the upcoming episodes, particularly in episode 7.

Messer added that the Dirty Dozen will be the BAU's long-term case. However, she did share that this particular act will end before season 11 does.

Catch "Criminal Minds" season 11 episode 4 tonight, Oct. 21, at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
