While the release of the third installment of the "Crackdown" action-adventure video game franchise is still a few months away, game developer Reagent Games finally unveiled the basic system requirements that players need to remember to fully enjoy "Crackdown 3."

GameNGuide listed down the system requirements needed to play the upcoming open world action-adventure game on PC. It includes a Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Intel CPU or an FX-8350 AMD CPU, as well as the GeForce GTX 760 Nvidia Graphics Card or the Radeon R7 260X v3 AMD Graphics Card. The game is also expected to require 55 GB of HDD space and 8 GB of RAM.

Aside from the PC edition, the upcoming "Crackdown 3" is also expected to come out with an Xbox One version, since Microsoft will be the one to publish the game.

After the game was revealed during Microsoft's press conference during the Electronic Entertainment Expo in June 2014, speculations claim that the game will be released in the market sometime in 2017. However, Reagent Games' creative director Dave Jones mentioned in his post on the official website of "Crackdown" that they will have to extend the players' wait to ensure the quality of the game.

"Our top priority is to give gamers an experience they have never seen before at a scale never thought possible, and sticking to our original timeline would have compromised that goal," Jones wrote in his blog post.

The creative director also promised to release more details about the game, and its possible release date soon.

Meanwhile, Microsoft Studios Community Manager Kieffer Bryant displayed several "Crackdown 3" custom controller and console concept inspired by the upcoming game. One of them is a concept art by Tom Thomson for Microsoft's soon-to-be-released Xbox One S. This could mean that the game developer is also working to add a 4K support to the game upon release.

More details about "Crackdown 3" are expected to be revealed in the coming days.
