TLC's reality television show "Counting On" isn't sitting well with some of its fans lately. Many longtime supporters of the Duggar family are urging the show to bring back the eldest son of couple Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, Josh.

The original reality television show of the Duggar family, "19 Kids and Counting," was canceled after Josh got caught in multiple scandals. "19 Kids and Counting" was all about the Duggar clan who are known for their religious values as Baptists. The show lasted for almost seven years with a total of 229 episodes, including specials. Now, some fans are urging TLC and the Duggars to allow Josh to appear on the reality show.

An agreement had been made between TLC and the Duggar family for the sake of launching a new reality show for the family, titled "Counting On." The deal indicated that Josh would not appear in any episodes due to his scandals.

There are many speculations that Josh's appearance in the new reality show will hurt the credentials of the family, the show and TLC.

However, fans are asking for Josh to return with his wife Anna and their five beautiful children. There also aren't any photos of Josh on the official Instagram of the Duggar family. In a recent post, some fans commented that they missed Josh and his family. One fan said, "I was amazed at how they managed to hide Josh out of Joe's wedding since he was in it." The fan was referring to the recent wedding of Josh's brother Joe to his fiancée Kendra.

There are still no updates from TLC if Josh will return.

Compared to "19 Kids and Counting," "Counting On" is doing much better when it comes to ratings. IMDb gave the spin-off series a 6.3 out of 10 score, while the original show only received a 3.4.

"Counting On" airs new episodes every Tuesday at 8 p.m. EST on TLC.
