"Clash of Clans" is perhaps one of the most successful mobile games to date, a massively multiplayer online (MMO) strategy game that is being played by millions from all over the world.

The game has been so successful that game developer Supercell has even gone out and organized a special gathering for it called ClashCon, which will happen at the Messukeskus Expo and Convention Centre in Helsinki, Finland this coming Saturday, Oct. 24.

Of course, not all "Clash of Clans" gamers will be able to make it to Finland for one reason or another, but such shouldn't be a problem. For the die-hard gamers who want to be virtually on hand, a live stream for the said event will be available through YouTube, Twitch, or via the main Clashcon website.

Now, why would people want to keep tabs of the event? Well, for one, there is great anticipation of possible updates on that day and many believe that it will be the Halloween-themed update as well as some major game changes for the popular mobile game.

Among the said changes may include the nighttime gameplay mode which, per rumors, would make the game more challenging for its millions of users since visibility would be low.

In order for "Clash of Clans" gamers to effectively hold up, light will be available only through the aid of gems and torches so it may be best for gamers to raise their level of alertness.

Since it is the season of spooks and witches, it remains to be seen if Supercell could go as far as to add some supernatural and spooky elements to spice up things a bit.

For the gamers who don't want any part of the planned Halloween update, well don't fret. The special mode is actually optional, meaning you can disable it in case you don't feel like playing in the dark.

Other possible updates that could come out include the Town Hall 11 and a new Barbarian level 8 as well. Further to that, single player mode will allegedly be richer, which seems to be a way to help encourage players to venture out in the world all by themselves.
