The "Clash of Clans" Town Hall 11 update is here and it's quite a lot to take in.

Video game company Supercell has reportedly made a lot of changes to the popular game that will take some getting used to. The gameplay was said to have shifted in order to prevent hacking and make it fair for all players.

The update includes new troops levels for Witches and Minions, as well as a new character called the Grand Warden, intended to support the team's offense. The character has the powerful ability to make nearby units invincible, albeit only temporarily.

Of course, a couple of new defense systems have also been included, one of which is called the Eagle Artillery, which can cover the whole map. The Wizard Tower is another one, which enables the player to give out spells to other team mates.

The update also allows users to attack a new target that may hold special goods. Trophy offers and losses have also been changed for both attacking and defending players.

It also includes many additional features, but it looks like fans are not pleased with the changes. A Reddit thread has documented players' dissatisfaction with the new update.

The new rules entail a penalty of a few minutes after playing unshielded online cumulatively for three hours. With the Town Hall 11 update, the timer now resets after obtaining a shield or if the player has not been the subject of an attack for half an hour.

The "personal break crisis," as it is referred to, is not sitting well with fans.

"No, it's not hard at all to take a break.. but when the game forces you, that can be a bit difficult to work around," commented one player.

"Playing is no longer enjoyable," said another.

It is unknown if Supercell will eventually decide to keep the update or release another one that will ultimately calm the players' uproar.

The "Clash of Clans" Town Hall 11 update can be downloaded through the App Store for iOS and the Google Play Store for Android.
