In just a matter of hours, the anticipated update for "Clash of Clans" will roll out and fans are already excited about this. As most players of the game know, there will be significant changes to the game, including a major update of Town Hall 11 and the most awaited new third hero.

Supercell had released previews of the changes over the last two weeks and the highlight of them all is the new hero called the Grand Warden. According to iDigitalTimes, this third hero can deliver his attack from above and on the ground and can also reach a maximum upgrade of level 20 with Elixir.

The Grand Warden doesn't really deal great damage and that's not his true power. He has a special ability called Life Aura, which should boost the health points of ally units nearby. This will greatly help the army become tough and able to break down town hall defenses.

The Grand Warden also possesses an Active ability called the Eternal Tome. This special ability grants temporary invulnerability to the Warden and nearby units, bringing more advantage to troops on a mission to destroy bases. Note that the state of invulnerability only takes effect when troops are close to the Grand Warden.

However, it was noted that the Eternal Tome won't protect units from traps, but will still heal troops even if they are hit by Inferno Towers.

As for Grand Warden's defense, it was posted on Supercell Forum that the awesome new hero will turn into stone when a player's town hall is under siege.

Grand Warden patrols around the town just like any hero, but once the town is under attack, the new hero is activated into a defense system — a tower that "buffs HP of skeleton traps and clan castle & shoots offensive units," as noted in the forum post.

The Grand Warden is just one of the coolest things to watch out for, other than bigger maps, new defense system for the town hall, and the Witch Level 3. The update is expected to roll out to iPhone and Android today, Dec. 10.
