Chris Brown has been making an effort to win back Karrueche Tran after the model broke up with him when it was revealed that he has fathered a baby girl with another woman. After Tran publicly broke up with the singer on social media, the "Ayo" singer has reportedly been trying to get in touch with his ex while at the same time, adjusting to his new role as a father.

Brown has risen to the occasion as he welcomed his daughter Royalty into his life. Since then, the singer has posted many pictures of the 11-month old on his Instagram account, declaring to the world that he is proud to be the father of the little girl.

Brown has also made his first public appearance with Royalty as he posed with her on the red carpet of last weekend's Billboard Music Awards. The singer was all smiles as he carried his daughter and he appeared to be very fond of the baby.

Now, a new report claims that Brown is hoping that his new role as a father will prove to Tran that he has changed for the better.

"Karrueche's never seen Chris in this type of light," said a source to Hollywood Life. "She's never seen him be incredibly selfless when it comes to another human being. Royalty has actually changed his entire life and he wants Karrueche to see the new him."

While it was reported that the ex-couple has been in touch since they broke up, they have yet to see each other in person again since news about Royalty broke on the Internet. Aside from wanting to see Tran again, Brown reportedly wants her to meet his daughter soon.

"Chris doesn't want Karrueche to be afraid of Royalty," adds the insider. "He wants her to meet his baby in person, hold her and see for herself just how magical she is."
