Hallmark Channel's drama series "Cedar Cove" premiered its third season last Saturday, and right away, viewers can feel tension in the air with the introduction of a new character, Paul Watson (Colin Ferguson).

The new district attorney immediately took a shine to Olivia (Andie McDowell), and perhaps, that is why in "A Helping Hand," Jack (Dylan Neal) will be pressuring her to move in together. Zap2it posits that there may be a love triangle brewing in the horizon for these three, as the new guy and the judge shows palpable chemistry.

TV Guide reports, however, that Olivia will express her doubts about Jack's proposal as she is still unsure whether to trust him again or not. In the premiere episode, viewers saw Jack, who was an admitted recovering alcoholic, took to the bottle again. His long-time love interest was certainly not pleased, with Olivia asking Jack for some space.

That was when DA Paul breezed into town, with his charismatic smile, flattering Olivia with his attention. In one instance, he also showed his steely side in a one-on-one conversation with Jack, telling the newspaper editor what a lucky man he was to have such a special woman in the judge.

Last episode also showed Grace (Teryl Rothery) trying to deal with Will (Cameron Bancroft) returning in town for the summer. She was already on edge, accepting Cliff's (Sebastian Spence) proposal even though she still had lingering doubts. Will Olivia's philandering brother still have the power to turn her into mush? And what about the last scene between Roy Macafee (Mike Dopud) and Corrie (Sarah Jane Redmond)? Will there be some revelations to watch out for soon?

Also in episode 2, Maryellen (Ellyse Levesque) will have some big announcement when she comes to town. What impact could the little news have on the sleepy community of Cedar Cove?

Find out on Saturday at 8 p.m. EST on Hallmark Channel.
