Christian country singer Carrie Underwood has gone back to work, and she has even taken her newborn son Isaiah Michael Fisher along.

So how does Underwood's baby feel about his mum working? Apparently, baby Isaiah loves it! The new mum shared on her Twitter account (@carrieunderwood) a post about the experience and wrote, "Played some of the new music this morning for little Isaiah and he smiled from ear to ear the whole time! I think we're on the right track!"

Earlier, Underwood said that she plans on writing new songs for her son as so far, most of her songs have been focused on girls, such as "All-American Girl" and "Forever Changed."

"I just kind of feel a little sad 'cause all my songs are about having girls," she told Unreality TV. "Like, little boy baby Fisher's got nothin'! Even 'Forever Changed,' which is one of my favourite songs, is definitely like a mother/daughter kind of a song, so... I'm gonna have to get on that."

Underwood added that some of her old tracks such as "Mama's Song," which she co-wrote in honour of her mother right before she wed hockey player Mike Fisher back in 2010 has been given "a whole new meaning" now that she is a mother herself.

When she celebrated her birthday last March, Underwood considered a "late night date with a tiny semi-bald chubby dude who likes to grunt & cry & pass gas" as a birthday treat, and she adores sharing photos of her son on her social media accounts as well.

The first photo she shared was a glimpse of his hand and she wrote, "Tiny hands and tiny feet...God has blessed us with an amazing gift! Isaiah Michael Fisher - born on February 27. Welcome to the world, sweet angel!"

The next photo showed her son cradling a hockey stick and she captioned it: "The Predators are in the playoffs! Just waiting to get called up!"
