One of the most acclaimed and anticipated game of 2017 has been release. Sledgehammer and Activision launched their first-person shooting video game "Call of Duty: World War II" on Nov. 3. The story of the game is inspired by some of the most notable and groundbreaking events that occurred during World War II.

Several video game critics immediately engaged in analyzing and reviewing the game. PlayStation LifeStyle, one of the outlets which was able to get their reviews published early, gave the game a 9 out of 10 score. According to their report, the game managed to tell the historical war with a brilliant gameplay and emotional story.

The main characters of the game are members of the 1st Infantry Division deployed to Europe for war. Many gamers commended the extensive multiplayer mode of the game. The main goal for the multiplayer mode is to climb toward the ranks by engaging in team matches and also unlocking new weapons to gain the upper hand. IGN said the multiplayer mode did not really change in general but is still an exciting element of Call of Duty. The latest installment to the "Call of Duty" video game series also introduced iconic locations during the war to serve as battleground for gamers.

However, fans are more excited about the Nazi zombie mode of the World War II edition. An additional campaign story features a group of four talented individuals in a mission to retrieve stolen artworks from the Axis powers. The story is staged in Mittelburg, Germany and instead of gunshots and grenades, players will face aggressive zombies. During an interview with PlayStation, creative director Cameron Dayton explained that the World War II edition is the perfect game to feature a "horror aspect." Dayton said, "We decided to go with a different direction from the infection, the outbreak, and turn them into a tool."

"Call of Duty: World War II" is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
