"Call of Duty" warriors got excited by the latest information about their favorite game. The next "Call of Duty" game will reportedly be titled "Ghost 2" and will be released in November of this year, as was published in a magazine.

Game TM, a respected magazine based in the U.K., put up the information in their February 2016 issue. It was mentioned as one of "2016's Most Wanted Games." A reader named Mari Fernett took a photo of the page showing the title of the game and the magazine cover, just to prove that she's not making it up, and sent it to Fraghero.

The report also posted a transcript of the magazine article that says: "When creative strategist Robert Bowling exited Infinity Ward in 2012, he put the departure down to the studio doing 'too much pew pew not enough new new.' We got a look at what he meant with the release of 'Call of Duty: Ghosts' – a solid, yet unspectacular next-gen debut for the franchise. Infinity Ward will have had three years to work on a follow up, and it needs to showcase the same creative spark that once put in on the map with 'Modern Warfare' back in '08 if it wants any chance of standing shoulder to shoulder with Sledgehammer and Treyarch."

Back in 2013, "Call of Duty: Ghost" was not that successful compared to the previous title of the series and the next one that followed it. This is also the reason why Activision, the game publisher, passed the workload to Sledgehammer Games and Treyarch for the succeeding "COD" titles after "Ghost." Therefore, many in the gaming community were surprised with the latest information.

Now, they are hopeful that Infinity Ward will pull this off better than before since they are the original team that gave the title the status it is enjoying today.

On a side note, it was only on Feb. 12 that Infinity Ward confirmed the development of a 2016 "Call of Duty," and with the rumored release date in November, it means that they have been working on this project for quite a while now.

There is no word yet from either Activision or Infinity Ward with regard to the latest rumors.
