It looks like gamers have to be cautious with their actions in "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" as their decisions will play a part in the kind of fate their characters will get in the game.

Narrative director Taylor Kurosaki revealed this on his Twitter, further explaining that "More a factor of how effectively you execute the mission determines the outcome."

"And your allies react differently, depending on the outcome, as well," Kurosaki went on to say. He also revealed a bit about how this storytelling approach will impact the ship hacking in Black Sky in "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare."

Kurosaki revealed that other than hacking, there are actually "different methods" in bringing that ship down. This will also "elicit different reactions" as per the narrative director.

Some of the fans expressed excitement over this big change in "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," especially because the game is still expected to incorporate linear elements.

All that taken into consideration, it can be said that while player decisions will determine if a character lives or dies in "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," it still follows a base storyline.

This exciting tweak will certainly make "Black Ops" players feel at home in this new "Call of Duty" installment. This series of titles by Treyarch is known for basing outcomes on player decisions.

With regards to the movement system of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," producer Brian Horton said that the game will strike the balance between the new and the classic.

"So our focus was to try and create a fluid navigation system that starts in Geneva with the classic 'boots in the ground' movement; as we go into space we really try to explore what it meant to have movement in zero-G," Horton told Gaming Bolt.

"You'll see that the player will be able to use the grapple hook as means to navigate through a zero-G space. In addition to that, there will be sections where you'll be able to use enhanced navigation like double jumps and wall runs," he went on to say.

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" releases Nov. 4, for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
