Now that "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" Eclipse DLC has been released to the Xbox One, gamers are now looking forward to DLC 3, which is expected to be released next month.

According to reports, "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" DLC 3 will likely be released after the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016, which will take place on the second week of June.

Activision and Sony are expected to talk about "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," the upcoming iteration of the shooter, during the event so "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will have to wait.

That being said, it is far more likely for the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" DLC 3 to turn up a week later. Of course, this release will only be for PlayStation 4 players, as part of Sony and Activision's exclusivity deal.

Xbox One and PC players will have to wait for 30 days before they can get their hands on the DLC, like they did in the newly-released Eclipse DLC aka DLC 2.

Like the previous content released for the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," there will be three new maps but only three out of those locations will be brand new. The fourth one will be a reimagined classic from "Call of Duty: World at War" and other "Black Ops" titles.

It will also be exciting to see what "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" DLC 3 has in store for the Zombie mode. So far, the DLCs have brought players to an eerie castle in Awakening and an even eerier island in Eclipse.

Reports say that before "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" DLC 3 releases, an update presumably for the first two expansion packs will be released.

As fans await the next DLC to arrive, they can first immerse themselves with the Eclipse DLC, which was released May 19 to the Xbox One and PC. It comes with four maps—Spire, Rift, Knockout and Verge. It also introduces a new chapter for the Zombie mode called Zetsubou No Shima.
