It is rumored that in "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" chapter 3, Boruto himself will try to apprehend the bad guys, although Naruto would not be too thrilled with that idea.

However, knowing Boruto, he will insist in doing so despite his father's strong disagreement over what he thinks is an outrageous idea.

In "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" chapter 3, the young Uzumaki will go behind Naruto's back to help out in capturing the intruders and keep the city safe.

Boruto will turn to his friends to find a way to learn who the attackers are. According to spoilers, this will lead to an altercation with Boruto and these two intruders.
