The procedural drama "Bones" will air its 12th season next year. This will be the final season for the highly successful series and it is speculated that Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) and Angela (Michaela Conlin) will make amends to save their marriage. Cam (Tamara Taylor) and Arastoo's (Pej Vahdat) marriage plans were disrupted last season, but will they be able to pull through next season?
Ecumenical News mentioned that Hodgins was completely devastated after the accident. It was a tough one for him and his wife last season, for he was deeply depressed for being paralyzed from the waist down. They were always fighting. However, things will be different by the coming season, with Hodgins coming to terms with his present condition. Things are expected to go smoothly for the couple when the show comes back.
The wedding of Cam and Arastoo is expected to materialize in the final season of "Bones." The wedding plans of the two were side-tracked when Brennan (Emily Deschanel) got kidnapped. Taylor said in an interview during the San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) that it was initially believed that there will be no wedding between the two characters, but it will finally happen, Movie News Guide reported.
Last season left the fans with one big cliffhanger -- whether Zack (Eric Millegan) is just a kidnapper or the serial killer called Puppeteer. Many followers of the show are speculating that Zack and the Puppeteer are one and the same, and this could only be known when the show comes back next year.
Zack is not a first-time character. Die-hard fans know that he was part of the team in the first three seasons. He is the genius assistant of Brennan, who assisted her in solving several cases. However, he got manipulated by a serial killer, and was sent to a mental institution. It was also the reason for the big surprise for Brennan when Zack suddenly showed up.
The show's executive producer, Jonathan Collier, did not reveal anything but mentioned that there will be a lot of fun, with Zack back in the first episode of season 12, Zap2it added.
"Bones" will be airing season on Fox sometime in 2017.
