Booth (David Boreanaz) and Aubrey (John Boyd) will have a music-centered murder investigation in the upcoming episode of "Bones" season 11.

In the episode titled "The Strike in the Chord," the FBI agents are tasked to look into the murder of the lead singer from Lynwood University's The Whippersnaps male acapella singing group. But all the singing and vocal rehearsals could get into the duo's nerves.

According to the synopsis for the upcoming episode, the victim recently fired one of the best singers in the group named Ian Jansen, portrayed by "Teen Beach Movie" star Jordan Fisher. This made the duo suspect him of being involved in the crime.

Booth and Aubrey will also include the other members of the group in their watch list, including Julian Klein and Ted Gibbs, portrayed by Mitch Grassi and Scott Hoying from the Grammy Award-winning acapella group Pentatonix. Another Pentatonix member Kristin Maldonado will also portray the role of Liz Dervan, a member of The Whippersnaps' female rival group. She will also be included in the list of suspects for the death of the acapella member.

But aside from finding out who killed the victim, viewers will also discover that Aubrey was part of an acapella group back in college. However, he will do everything to make sure that his partner will not find out about this, including a thorough pleading with Angela (Michaela Conlin) to keep it a secret from Booth. But will she really keep her promise?

Meanwhile, Angela's husband Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) will sign up for an experimental nerve regeneration experiment to help him walk again. The synopsis for the episode also revealed that "Booth tries to plan a summer trip with Parker (guest star Gavin MacIntosh) and a new intern joins the Jeffersonian lab (guest star B.K. Cannon)."

"Bones" season 11, episode 16 is scheduled to air on Thursday, May 19 on FOX.
