In last week's episode of "Bones" season 11, Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) were seen in a politics-themed episode, dealing with the death of a U.S. senator.
This week's episode, titled "The Promise in the Palace," the team will be looking into a different theme — magic — as they will try to solve the case on the death of a magician, or a "Houdini" as how Booth put it in the promo trailer.
It appears that the magician/escape artist wasn't able to escape his demise. His body was found in the woods and ended up at the Jeffersonian for the team to investigate.
According to SpoilerTV, the team discovered that the magician used to work at The Magic Palace, where he's believed to have a secret agenda that made him a target in the community of magicians.
While the team will be busy trying to fit the puzzles together and find the dead magician's killer, Booth and Brennan asked their friends if they think that their little daughter Christine (Sunnie Pelant) should receive a visit from the tooth fairy.
Of course, Brennan would not agree to it, considering she does not believe in magic and the supernatural.
In the same episode, Angela (Michaela Conlin) will continue to collaborate with Sebastian Kohl, played by guest star Gil Darnell for her photography.
"Bones" have remained strong over the years, considering they are now in the eleventh season. Will the show continue when this season wraps up?
Showrunner Michael Peterson intends to do so as he has more stories to tell the viewers, but that is if the studio permits, BuddyTV reported.
More seasons of "Bones" will keep fans happy, but not if core actor Boreanaz will be missing from the show.
In a previous report from E! Online, Boreanaz expressed that season 11 should be the last season of the show. If Peterson wants more story, but Boreanaz doesn't feel the same, it could mean that he won't be showing up if "Bones" get renewed for another season.
Meanwhile, fans can catch more of Boreanaz and the rest of the team every Thursday at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
