A scavenger hunt will endanger Patterson's (Ashley Johnson) life in episode 17 of "Blindspot."

During the previous episode of the crime drama thriller, Patterson received a call saying that a table for two was reserved for her and her late boyfriend in one of her favorite restaurants. But despite her shock after receiving the call, she opted to go to the restaurant for their "date."

But while sitting at the restaurant table, the FBI special agent found a message hidden in a crossword puzzle that was published in New York Times. This will prompt her to go on a scavenger hunt that could threaten her safety.

The promo trailer for the episode titled "Mans Telepathic Loyal Lookouts" reveals that Patterson will end up in a cabin located in an isolated part of the woods. But before she can get out of the strange place, the enemy manages to catch up to her. After an attack leaves her unconscious, Patterson wakes up tied to a post inside the cabin.

Her colleagues, led by Weller (Sullivan Stapleton), will do everything that they can to rescue her, but they will be too late when they reach the cabin, since the special agent will be nowhere in sight. Will they manage to save Patterson before the enemy cause more trouble?

The official synopsis for the episode reads:

"After Patterson discovers a hidden message in the New York Times crossword, she embarks on a tattoo scavenger hunt that leads her into danger. Oscar (guest star Francois Arnaud) finally tells Jane (Jaimie Alexander) more about who she was, and Weller seeks his Dad's opinion about who kidnapped Taylor Shaw."

This means that Weller will have to approach his aging father to get more clues about the kidnapping.

"Blindspot" episode 17 is scheduled to air on Monday, April 11, on NBC.
