Christian singer Blanca, formerly from Group 1 Crew just announced the release date of her new solo album on her Facebook page.

"I've waited SO long to share this news! My new, self-titled album will be released on May 4th!" she wrote.

Blanca shared that the last couple of years have been an incredible journey for her, not just as an individual but also as a musician.

"From starting a family to pursuing a solo career, there have been lots of scary moments, but also moments that have reminded me of God's presence every step of the way. That's the heart of this record - knowing who we are in Christ, that we never stand alone, and that we were made to leave a mark on this world. I love sharing that message, and I love hearing about it from you!" she told her fans.

In celebration of her new album, Blanca offered to give away 20 copies of her "Who I Am" EP for fans who will be sharing their personal stories relating to the song. The singer said that she "can't wait" to hear how the single has helped trasform people's lives.

Earlier, Blanca thanked her fans in a video for the success of her single "Who I Am" EP. Wearing a simple white shirt, a smiling Blanca told her fans, "Hey guys, I just want to give a huge thank you to all of you who have show your support and got the 'Who I Am' EP... Thank you guys so much for being a part of this new journey with me."

The song has been well-received not only by fans but fellow Christian artists such as Mandisa. Mandisa gushed about Blanca's song on her Facebook page as she wrote: "I LOVE the new music from my girl, Blanca! Many of you will remember her from Group 1 Crew. She has one of my favorite voices and I am so proud of her in her new solo venture."
