"Better Call Saul" is still several weeks away but fans can barely wait until season 2 of the drama series premieres. Loyal viewers have had to wait a long time and it certainly is difficult to fill the void the show left after season 1 ended in April. Thankfully, teaser photos and details about the second season have managed to keep them somewhat at bay.
AMC has released season 2 photos of Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) and Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks). The first photo shows Jimmy looking dapper in a greyish blue suit, sitting on a chair with his feet up on the desk and his hands behind his head.
The second photo shows Jimmy and Mike in an elevator together, with Jimmy carrying coffee in his right hand and his briefcase in his left, while Mike is just standing there with his usual expressionless look. And the third photo shows Jimmy in his closet picking out the perfect suit--from plaid to striped and brown to bright pink--to wear.
Another set of teaser photos were released, beginning with a more relaxed Jimmy. The first image is of Jimmy chilling on a floating chair in the middle of the pool, complete with snacks and what looks to be a cocktail. The second image goes a bit darker, with Mike walking along a dark alley and a car with bright headlights trailing behind him. Finally, the last image shows Jimmy looking serious as he confronts two mysterious men with their backs turned from the camera.
Season 2 of the hit series has already been filmed and to say that fans are excited would be an understatement. But what has "Better Call Saul" season 2 got in store for them exactly?
Showrunner Peter Gould talked to Yahoo! TV and expressed his excitement about the show's sophomore season. In fact, it was exciting enough that even they were surprised. Gould also revealed that Jimmy's "ability to bounce back is going to be tested in Season 2."
"Better Call Saul" season 2 will premiere on Feb. 15 on AMC.
