Jimmy McGill is getting closer to his evil destiny in the latest "Better Call Saul" season 2 promo. In a new sneak peek for the premiere of the show's new season, Jimmy starts to exhibit the traces of evil he was always fated to display.

The lawyer heads to the nail salon where he has been running his operations, and there he tries to talk the owner into taking a break from the business before he treats himself with the cucumber water he is prohibited to drink.

In the "Better Call Saul" season 2 clip, it's almost as if a wind of malevolence blew through him and washed away all his care for warnings, rules and consequences. This is where Jimmy McGill starts to finally slip.

In two weeks, the new season of the award-winning "Breaking Bad" prequel will return with 10 episodes chronicling Jimmy's change of heart.

The synopsis for the premiere titled "Switch" suggests that his future life choices will put a crack on his relationship with Kim. However, this might come as a surprise to viewers. In the first promo released for "Better Call Saul" season 2, Kim looked shocked and disappointed upon hearing Jimmy's realization that doing good gets him nowhere.

It does not look like Kim will be able to stop Jimmy, though. Fans will see Jimmy's progression from a good and upright man to a full-fledged con-artist in "Breaking Bad."

While Jimmy's future is already mapped, getting there won't happen in a snap.

"It's not an instantaneous light switch that turns him into Saul Goodman," executive producer Peter Gould told TV Guide.

"Better Call Saul" season 2 will meticulously flesh his transformation. First, he will realize that being a "natural-born problem solver" also allows him to save himself from trouble and avoid getting caught. Jimmy will also make sure he gets some time for himself to discover and know who he really is and what he wants to be.

"Better Call Saul" season 2 premieres Feb. 15 on AMC. Netflix will stream the episodes internationally a day after they air on AMC.
