Belmont Stakes 2015 live stream (NBC TV): Watch American Pharaoh win Triple Crown online?

The Belmont Stakes 2015 horse race takes place on Saturday and this year's event it set to attract millions looking to see if American Pharaoh can capture the triple crown. Coverage of the Belmont Stakes 2015 has a start time of 4.30 p.m. ET, with race post time scheduled for 6.50 p.m. ET approximately. The race can be watched on TV on the NBC network, or online through live stream via the link below.

This year's race will be the 147th annual event of the Belmont Stakes and fans will be eager to see of American Pharaoh, the 3-year-old colt, can complete the Triple Crown after successfully claiming the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes earlier this year.

If American Pharaoh can accomplish this feat then American Pharaoh will be only the 12th horse ever to have claimed the Triple Crown, and will be the first to have done it since way back in 1978 when Affirmed shot to victory in all three races.

However, some remain skeptical over whether American Pharaoh can succeed where so many other have failed. In the present age it appears harder and harder for horses to claim all three, even if many have claimed two of the three races.

In fact over the past four years, three horses have claimed both the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes, but feel short when it came to the Belmont Stakes.

The third and final hurdle has been a stumbling block for many a horse over recent times, and recent history is not on American Pharaoh's side; the last 13 horses to have won the first two races have eventually lost out on the Belmont Stakes, and with it, the dream of the Triple Crown. It has become more and more elusive, and now 37 years since the last horse accomplished the amazing feat.

Optimists though believe that American Pharaoh can succeed where so many others have failed. The horse was a massive victor in the Preakness Stakes, claiming the win by an amazing seven length gap. Fans claim that American Pharaoh is far ahead of the chasing pack, and that he finally will be able to take a place in history as one of only 12 horses to have claimed the Triple.

Millions are set to tune in to watch the race, which is sure to be a dramatic affair. The Belmont Stakes coverage will commence at 4.30 p.m. ET on the NBC TV network. Post time will not be until approximately 6.50 p.m. though, and fans hoping to catch the race online can do so via NBC Sports live stream by clicking here.
