'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' rumors: Will Zack Snyder heed calls for more Dark Knight scenes?

When word came out that Batman will be portrayed by Ben Affleck instead of the previous Dark Knight portrayer Christian Bale, fans weren't exactly ecstatic.

However, that seems to have changed after trailers for the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" came out, seeing a lot of fans pretty much impressed at how Affleck has fit into the role perfectly.

And for that, although unconfirmed, it seems that Warner Bros. has led the call on director Zack Snyder to feature a whole lot more of Batman rather than the Man of Steel (Henry Cavill) for the film set to debut next year.

That would have been, of course, doable had this request been made earlier. But seeing that the film is set to come out in about six months, could there be time to change some scenes?

The funny part of it all is that the said film was supposed to have Superman in the lead role with Batman and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) playing supporting roles. But with Affleck reportedly blowing away Superman (apparently based on trailers), fans want more of Batman than Superman now.

As it stands, it seems that many would want to see Batman on equal footing with Superman. Other than the upcoming film for 2016, remember that Ben Affleck is set to star in his own Batman film in 2018.

Of course, there could still be time to make some film edits and iterations but the question is how many Batman sequences are there right now in Snyder's hands? If the scenes are not enough, does it mean additional shoots involving Ben Affleck/ Batman will be in order?

Further, does this mean that we will be seeing less of Cavill?

Whatever the plans are, they must be done fast. "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is expected to hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
