"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" director Zack Snyder teased over the week that a new trailer for the most-awaited film will be released. Although the director has not revealed an exact date, he only mentioned that it will be arriving "soon."

Snyder revealed about the trailer during an exclusive interview with 411Mania on October 21st.

With only a vague response as to the release date, speculations about the anticipated new trailer started to pop up.

Screencrush reported that the trailer is likely to be released in December because by then, the movie will only be three months away.

A speculation from MoviePilot also seemed to agree with the December target date.

The news outlet gathered the information from The Projection List, a website dedicated to trailer schedules and movie release updates.

"Dawn of Justice" was listed on the site and it had a projected release date of December 25.

Despite the convincing information, MoviePilot noted that nothing on the website has been confirmed and TPL was once wrong with its prediction that a movie teaser would be released in February this year.

Nevertheless, a "Dawn of Justice" new trailer released in time for the holidays would still make sense since it also coincides with the theater release of "Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens."

Then there's also the prediction that the brand new trailer will be released in 2016, which is a best bet for many, according to MoviePilot.

The news outlet further explained that 2016 would be an appropriate release date because it would create a strong hype for the film as the new year starts.

Releasing the trailer this year would only mean that a lot about the movie will be revealed even before its release date.

The most anticipated "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" stars Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill and will be released in theaters on March 25, 2016.
