Fans can finally get their hands on "Batman: Return to Arkham" starting Oct. 18. This was after Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment initially canceled the bundle's original release date back in June.

"Batman: Return to Arkham" is a remastered version of the first two games of the "Batman: Arkham" series, the "Arkham Asylum" and "Arkham City." According to an IGN report, all the downloadable content (DLC) for both games are also included in the bundle.

A side-by-side comparison video between the original game for the PlayStation 3 and the remastered version for the PlayStation 4 was released earlier in the week. It features the graphical improvements that the game has received, such as better colorization, better shading, and more definition. SuperHeroHype added that it also received changes in lighting, effects, environment and settings.

"Batman: Return to Arkham" was supposed to be released last July, but Warner Bros. decided to delay the release indefinitely to give Virtuous, the game studio, more time to polish the remastered version of its games.

Rocksteady Studios developed both games. "Batman Arkham Asylum" was released in 2009 and takes the players inside the dark world of the mental facility. The Bat crusader's main mission is to free the asylum from The Joker, Harley Quinn, Bane, Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, and Scarecrow. The game was a huge success back then. It even received a Guinness World Record for the "Most Critically Acclaimed Superhero Game Ever," until "Arkham City" arrived.

"Batman: Arkham City" was released in 2011 and featured the maximum-security prison in Gotham City. Now, the villains that Batman locked up during the first game have taken control of the prison facility. The game added a few more villain like Catwoman, The Riddler, and Mr. Freeze. The game was also well received by the fans and has won many awards.

"Batman: Return to Arkham" will hit the shelves on Oct. 18 in North America and Oct. 21 in Europe. The game will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
