"Attack on Titan" fans in Western countries can get hold of Koei Tecmo's new video game based on the epic manga series in summer.

The announcement of the game's release in countries outside Japan was made in form of a new trailer, saying that U.S. players can start enjoying the game starting Aug. 30. Meanwhile, those in Europe, where it will also be known in the region as "Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom," will be able to own the game earlier starting Aug. 26.

Based on the trailer, the gameplay of "Attack on Titan" will let players roam around an open world as they complete the different missions based on the plot of the anime's first season. The trailer also teased the mature content of the games, showing that players can slay the Titan in a gruesome manner.

Players can also discover how to become experts in using the Vertical Maneuvering Equipment using Iron wires and plug-in blade to defeat the gigantic monsters. They can also use different characters and play using the online cooperative mode.

The official description of the game reads:

"Attack on Titan closely follows the riveting storyline of the animes first season and focuses on the exploits of various key characters, putting the player in a position to relive its most shocking, courageous and exhilarating moments. It revolves around the story of three young people who survive the destruction of their walled city district by enormous, man-eating Titans and eventually go on to join the Scout Regiment in order to protect humanity from this overpowering foe."

The game will be available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One and PC editions upon release. However, only the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One editions will have a physical release.
