"Assassin's Creed" is getting a mobile version of its "Identity" installment and the trailer is now available.

The mobile version of "Assassin's Creed Identity" is developed specifically for iOS platforms. Just like previous installments of the franchise, this mobile game will offer a progression-based game experience. When players make progresses within the game, their assassins will also develop to become better and more efficient characters.

The game will also feature character classes like Berserker, Trickster, Shadow Blade, and Thief. Players will start from a novice assassin from their preferred class.

Each of the assassin classes possesses unique traits. The Berserker class is great for direct combat; Shadow Blade class performs well during stealth missions; the Trickster serves as a well-balanced character; while the Thief is basically great at speedy movements and stealing.

According to Ubisoft's official blog, the player will play different missions and quests as part of The Mystery of the Crows. "Assassin's Creed" players will be familiar with this game since it will take the character into different cities of Italy set in the all-too familiar Renaissance era.

Controls for the game include dual virtual sticks, with the use of a gamepad and a touch-to-move control option.

"Assassin's Creed Identity" will be available for download starting on Feb. 25. To play the game, players need to have a device that runs on an iOS 7 and it should be an iPad 3 or iPhone 5 or their newer models.

The trailer below should give players an idea of what the game should look like. All in all, the mobile version appears to be similar to the previous games — it still retains the trademark of the assassin's free movement and parkour moves.

"Assassin's Creed Identity" should be an ideal game to play to pass the time.

Watch out for more details about the game, which should be dropped within today.
