'Arrow' season 4B news: Whose grave was Oliver standing on? What happens to Felicity?

"Arrow's" season 4B is set to premiere in January 2016 and fans are already excited to see what will happen next, knowing Oliver's (Stephen Amell) heart was crushed when his new fiancée, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), was seriously injured and fighting for her life back in the winter finale episode.

A promo trailer for the second half of the season has already been released earlier this month. In the clip, Oliver is heard saying he's going to kill someone and it's easily presumed that he'll be after Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough).

The other thing that the trailer gave away, which got everyone talking, is the scene where Oliver is standing on a grave mourning the loss of someone who is believed to be really close to him as evidenced by his facial reaction.

The grave could belong to anybody important in Oliver's life. MoviePilot speculated that it could belong to Diggle (David Ramsey), since he's close to Oliver and he's one of the people, apart from Thea (Willa Holland) and Felicity, who would surely make the superhero react that way.

Then again, it's also easy to speculate that the grave belongs to Felicity. But the new winter promo trailer (below) revealed that Oliver's girl is already out of surgery and it's Thea who brought the news. Thea also mentions that the doctors couldn't pinpoint what's wrong with her soon-to-be sister-in-law.

Nothing has been confirmed about Felicity's fate after she survived her gunshot wounds, but there are already speculations about what her character would go through in the second half of the season.

TV Line conducted a poll asking fans what's next for Felicty and the results showed most of them think that the character could either be temporarily paralyzed or have unknowingly miscarried.

There was also a rumor that Felicity will become Arrowverse's version of the Oracle. Oracle is the alter-ego of the paralyzed Barbara Gordon in the Batman comics and serves as the hacker and lookout for Batman.

The truth about Felicity's fate will be revealed when "Arrow" returns to The CW on Jan. 20, 2016 at 8 p.m. EST.
