While Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) continues to battle Damien Darkh (Neal McDonough) in season 4, the network is currently looking for an actor who will play the role of the next big bad for "Arrow" season 5.

TVLine revealed that The CW is now on the hunt for the right actor to portray the role of an "irrepressibly charming guy" who is around the same age as Oliver. He is also described as "a man on a mission" who is out to retaliate because of a tragic loss in the past. This means that the character went through a very difficult past. Cinema Blend speculated that it has something to do with James's family.

According to the report, the casting call for the character is looking for a late-20s to 30s actor from any ethnicity who could "just as easily shake your hand as your best friend or break your neck as your worst enemy — and you never know which one is coming. Either way, he's more than capable of having a good time as he does it."

At this point, there are no details linking James from any of the villains that Green Arrow faced in the DC Comic books series. He could be a product of different villains combined or an entirely original character. But the network is expected to reveal more information about the character soon.
