"America's Got Talent" season 10 is inching closer to crowning this year's champion. This won't be an easy feat though. With plenty of amazing acts vying for the top spot, picking a winner will undoubtedly be difficult for the judges.

Last week, judges Heidi Klum, Mel B, Howie Mandel and Howard Stern and even host Nick Cannon determined the fate of the first batch of contestants. In the end, Derek Hughes, Oz Pearlman, Drew Lynch and The Craig Lewis Band all advanced. They also chose to save Benton Blount.

The "AGT" journey ended for Siro-A, Metal Mulisha and Mountain Faith. Arielle Baril, Ira and Samantha Johnson failed to wow the judges last week as well.

There will be 11 acts in the second part of the semi-finals airing next week. The semi-finals 2 will kick off on Tuesday with the remaining 11 acts to perform live before judges and the American audience. Only five acts will be selected for the finals, and six of them will be sent home.

The contestants performing include Sharon Irving, Alondra Santos and Alicia Michilli who will all be singing their way to the championships. Opera singer Daniella Mass and rock band 3 Shades of Blue will also vie for a spot in the finals. Stand-up comedian Gary Vider will have to crack some sidesplitting jokes and fill the room with laughter to get in.

Magician Piff the Magic Dragon and his adorable pet dragon will have to have enough tricks up their sleeves for judges not to press that big red buzzer. The same goes for ventriloquist Paul Zerdin, ladder acrobat Uzeyer Novruzov and professional regurgitator Stevie Starr.

Semi-finals 2 of "America's Got Talent" season 10 airs Sept. 15. The five acts that stand out will move on to the finals happening on Sept. 16.
