NBC got the audiences glued to their shows as it dominated the primetime ratings last Tuesday, all thanks to "Hollywood Game Night" and "America's Got Talent."
According to preliminary estimates from Nielsen, AGT was the number one program last Tuesday for adults 18–49 years old, as reported in Variety.
The ratings were up to 14 percent from the previous week. Overall, it was also found to be Tuesday night's most watched show.
Of course, the show itself is already captivating, and that's all thanks to the lovely acts who showcase their talents just to impress the judges and the audiences.
On Wednesday's show, 12 acts from AGT were seen to have given the opportunity to move forward to the semifinals, while five others unfortunately didn't make the cut.
The show also introduced what is called the "Dunkin' Save." With this save, viewers can cast a live vote to save a performer who's on the brink of elimination.
What viewers can do is to Google "Dunkin' Save" to find the relevant link and pick one from the three performers who garnered the lowest votes but deserves to be in the finals.
Last Wednesday, viewers saw how the boy band Triple Threat, Vita Radionova the contortionist, dance groups The Gentlemen and Craig and Micheline, and gymnastics group Showproject didn't make it to the semifinals.
On the other hand, Piff the Magic Dragon, Siro-A, Samantha Johnson, Benton Blount, Alondra Santos, Drew Lynch, and Paul Zerdin the ventriloquist made it through to the next round.
These acts surely managed to make an impression on different people and already favorites have been picked.
According to a report from Shira Benizilio of Hollywood Life, Siro-A was her top pick and she believes that the group has what it takes to win the grand prize.
Benizilio reported how the group always brings something unique in their performance, that even judge Howard Stern described the group as an "original."
That's part of the talent show, everyone has his or her own picks, but the question is will their favorites be consistent enough all throughout?
They have to tune in to find out what more exciting and surprising performances these people will have in the coming episodes.
