The new season for "American Horror Story" is coming soon and fans are excited about several things that have been revealed about the show.

Design & Trend reported that show creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk teased some details for the show's fifth season during the Television Critics Association held last Aug. 7.

The most important news about the show is that Lady Gaga will be appearing for the next season. IBTimes reported that Murphy and other members of the cast were excited about Gaga's appearance, especially that she delivered an awesome performance.

Murphy described Gaga as a professional who's easy to work with. According to his tweet, the "Bad Romance" singer is "terrifyingly genius" when it comes to playing her role in "American Horror Story: Hotel."

Lady Gaga will play the role of Elizabeth, the owner of the hotel located in downtown Los Angeles, the set location for the upcoming season.

Elizabeth was described as a wealthy and very prominent person "consumed with art, fashion and people," as Murphy put it.

Other cast members include Sarah Paulson (12 Years a Slave), Kathy Bates (Dolores Claiborne), Wes Bentley(The Hunger Games), Chloë Sevigny (Big Love), and Finn Wittrock (Unbroken).

Meanwhile, AHS fans are also dying to know if fan favorite Zachary Quinto, who appeared in two seasons of the show, will make a comeback.

However, it was confirmed by the actor himself that he won't be appearing in the FX series, according to a report from Fashion & Style.

"American Horror Story: Hotel" will be a story based on true events. According to Murphy, the idea came from a surveillance footage from a hotel in Los Angeles, which surfaced two years ago.

In the video, it showed a girl in an elevator who disappeared and was never heard from. While Murphy didn't drop the name of the hotel or the girl, it was reported that it might be inspired by the Elisa Lam case.

Season 5 of "American Horror Story" premieres on Oct. 7 on FX.
