 Official Chevrolet web site

Earlier this year, General Motors has unveiled the new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro, and fanatics are so excited to place in their orders.

The new Camaro will offer better features compared to the previous model. Customers can expect the vehicle to have a sleeker body, new engines, as well as fresh details on both exterior and interior of the vehicles, as reported by 2016carsreviews.com.

With the unveiling of the new design, an ordering guide has spread across the Internet giving customers an idea on the available specifications for the upcoming vehicle.

Based on the order guide sheet, the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will offer two trim levels, the LT and SS, as reported in TopSpeed.

The main difference between the two trims is the engine setup. Under each of the two trims, there will also be two models.

The new generation of LT trim will have a four-cylinder 2.0-liter engine as opposed to the previous generation LT that has a 3.6-liter V6 engine block. The SS variant, however, will still offer the 6.2-liter V8 engine block.

Customers can also enjoy various color schemes offered by the automaker and these include Red Hot Metallic, Hyper Blue Metallic, Summit White, and Nightfall Gray Metallic, among others, as reported in Day Herald.

But for those who are willing to spend extra money to get special colors, they can enjoy the Garnet Red Tintcoat, Mosaic Black Metallic, and Bright Yellow.

There were also reports that the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will fix the issue on a blind spot. After consumers were not too pleased with the last version, the new model should sport a better exterior that applied changes to address the blind spot issue.

As for the release date, there is no mention from General Motors yet; But according to a report from CamaroNews, Chevrolet will be accepting orders for the 2016 Camaro on Aug. 13 and the production of the vehicles will start on Aug. 22.

These are merely speculations and an official announcement or press release from the company is yet to be made.
