The new Chevrolet Camaro, which will be released before the year ends, has undergone several improvements that make it a much better car compared to its predecessor.

As previously reported, the 2016 Camaro will be available in three variants running on three different engines — the 2.0L Turbo, V6, and V8 engines.

For the 2.0L Turbo, it is powered by 275 HP and 295 pound-feet (lb-ft) of torque and can reach 60 miles per hour (mph) from zero in just under six seconds.

The V6 engine, considered to be the mid-range Camaro has 335 hp and 284 lb.ft torque with the 0 to 60 mph completed in 5.1 seconds for automatic transmission and only 5.2 seconds for manual transmission.

Finally, the third and high-end variant, the V8 engine was clocked at a flat four seconds for the 0 to 60 mph transition.

The specs of 2016 Chevy Camaro inside the hood has long been revealed but now, a new report states that General Motors just introduced the list of accessories and performance parts that can help toughen up the vehicle even more.

Digital Trends has the scoop on this list and it states that the midrange and high-end 2016 Camaro variants can have its exhaust system enhanced for performance.

For better handling of the Chevy and for it to have a tougher appeal, General Motors has also offered suspension-lowering kits.

Racing enthusiasts and Camaro 2016 can definitely go together as it was reported that Brembo brakes will be included in the list of performance parts for the upcoming vehicle.

There will be two packages of Brembo brakes, including one for the 2.0L Turbo variant and V6 model.

Apart from the performance-enhancing parts, Chevy will also have its own accessories to allow buyers to personalize their 2016 Camaro as they please.

Buyers can choose from grille kits, ground effects kit, various wheel designs, and rear spoilers among others.

Anytime soon, the release date for the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will be announced and it's expected that it will once again compete with Ford Mustang.
