They're ready to move on. Both Jill and Jessa Duggar of "19 Kids and Counting" fame broke their silence on social media this week, after their brother, Josh, admitted last month that he molested four of his sisters and a babysitter when he was a young teenager.
Jill and Jessa, who each have more than a million followers on their respective Instagram accounts, have always kept their fans posted through regular uploads on the photo sharing app. That changed on May 21, when Josh issued a statement confirming the molestation allegations. Since then, the sisters have been quiet on social media, but this week, it appears that the reality TV stars are ready to move on with their lives as Jill posted new pictures of baby Israel, and Jessa, who's currently pregnant, has shared a new ultrasound picture of her unborn child.
Days after Jill and her husband, Derick Dillard, celebrated their son's two-month birthday, the proud parents shared more pictures of their little one on their personal family website. Jill also shared baby Israel's album on her Twitter page, and Derick retweeted the album and captioned it, "He's getting bigger everyday!"
Meanwhile, Jessa posted a shot of her ultrasound on Wednesday, June 10, and captioned it, "#BabySeewald makes a first appearance today!!! #19weeks3days Yay! Almost halfway."
"Your daddy and I love you soooo much! #FirstUltrasound- with @Ben_Seewald."
It has been reported that Jill and Jessa have both been having a difficult time coping since the scandal broke. During their appearance on "The Kelly File" on Friday, June 5, both of them admitted that they were among Josh's victims, while maintaining that the media has blown the story out of proportion.
A source told People that the sisters are feeling "shame, sorrow, and anger" when the family's secret was exposed, saying, "They just feel horrible that this is public knowledge, that this is something that the whole world will know about them for the rest of their lives."
