When it comes to beauty icons, country crooner Carrie Underwood thinks that Wild and Legally Blonde actress Reese Witherspoon is simply gorgeous.

"I've always loved Reese Witherspoon," she told PEOPLE. "She kind of seems like a normal person in general. Any time I've ever talked to her, she's just super sweet. She just looks kind of like that all-American girl, you know?"

Underwood herself is a fan of the "normal and natural" look, but she admits that she rarely gets make-up free days because of her work.

As a compromise, Underwood goes for quick and effortless beauty. "I've become friends with the round brush so I can style my hair as I blow it dry instead of blowing it dry then trying to curl it, which takes up a large portion of my time," she shared.

Soon-to-be mother Underwood also said that she will not let go of her beauty regimen even after she gives birth. "I still want to feel good about myself even as I'm just bopping around the house taking care of baby. I like my comfy clothes, but I always have to have my hair and makeup somewhat done," she said. "I might be wearing sweat pants but the rest of me is done up!"

Her latest single, "Something in the Water" earned the singer her seventh Grammy award and she described it as a "joyous, uplifting song."

She tweeted (@carrieunderwood) about her Grammy win and said, "I'm seriously so happy that 'Something in the Water' won a Grammy! This song means so much to me...I feel so honored and blessed!"

The song is another hint at the Jesus Take the Wheel singer's Christian faith.  

"There's somebody saying what I'm saying to you, Open my eyes and told me truth, He said just a little faith and it'll all get better, So I followed that preacher man down to the river and now I'm changed, And now I'm stronger," the song lyrics say.
