'The Incredibles 2' release date news: Jack-Jack vs Dash rumored

 Disney, Pixar

As previously reported, the plot of "The Incredibles 2" will pick up from a clue that was left behind in the first film. It is widely believed that this clue is the ending sequence which revealed Jack-Jack was no ordinary infant and had super powers. According to Ecumenical News, new rumors suggest that Jack-Jack may even come to bad terms with his elder brother, Dash.

Dash, as his name implies, has the ability of running at high speeds and is one of the main characters in the first film. According to the report, there is a possibility of either Dash or Jack-Jack being seduced by the sequel's main antagonist and turning to the dark side, forcing the two brothers to fight each other.

It is stated in the report that Dash is the most likely to be manipulated due to his rash nature although, Jack-Jack is also a likely candidate due to his young age and the fact that he is still training to use his powers properly.

Jack-Jack showcased the unique ability to transform into different forms, allowing him to use more than just one kind of power. This may make Jack-Jack a very powerful villain if he turns out to be the child that turns into a supervillain. Dash is speculated to lose, causing the entire Parr family to intervene and fight in order to bring Jack-Jack back to their side.

However, turning to the dark side will only happen if there is a main villain pulling the strings behind the scenes. Some rumors suggest that Syndrome may be back as the villain despite him being killed off in the climax of the first movie. While he may be alive by some manner, other rumors suggest that Dash or Jack-Jack will be manipulated by someone else entirely.

"The Incredibles 2" is scheduled for release in theaters in June 2019.
