Sadie Robertson urges people to start focusing more on their inner treasures rather than their physical appearance

People often worry about the wrong things, says "Duck Dynasty" teenage star Sadie Robertson, and this is why they often fail to recognise the things they are already doing wrong.

On her Instagram account (@legitsadierob), the "Live Original" reality TV star shared her latest reflection about the importance of protecting what comes in and out of one's heart, which is inspired by the sermon given earlier by Pastor Steven Furtick of Elevation Church in Charlotte, North Carolina.

"We worry so much about what we put in our mouth. We are so on guard about what we put in our mouth so that we will look good on the outside. Why don't we do that with our hearts?" she writes. "We will diet from gluten, carbs and sugar from our mouth, but we won't guard our hearts from hatred, jealousy, negativity, and gossip."

Sadie says people should start focusing more on their inner treasures rather than their physical appearances. "Maybe instead of spending all of our time worrying about what's going IN our mouth we should start worrying about what's coming OUT of our mouth. That starts with your heart. That's what's going to make a difference in your world," she says.

Earlier, Sadie discussed the Bible verses Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, which talks about the importance of love, family, and friendship. The Scripture says: "Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble."

Sadie adds that "‬‬it is so important to have that person in your life" and urged her fans to reflect: "Who is your person?" As for Sadie, she did not indicate who her "person" is but implied that it is her boyfriend Blake Coward since she shared a photo of them holding each other's hands.
