The beta for "RollerCoaster Tycoon World" is now officially set to kick off this coming weekend.

The beta will be launched Friday and should run all the way through to Monday, barring any problems that may necessitate a change.

The game's developer, Nvizzio, indicated that the upcoming beta will provide players with an idea of the type of experience they can enjoy from the game as soon as it is ready to launch.

Nvizzio will be allowing players to access several features of "RollerCoaster Tycoon World" during the beta.

The features that players will be able to enjoy include coaster building, physics, riding and simulation, as well as paths, scenery, terrain deformation/water and a bunch of other additional ones that were not yet outlined on the game's official website.

With the amount of features that players will be given access to during the beta, they should be able to form an informed opinion regarding the game, and the developer is banking on that.

Nvizzio will be looking at player feedback and using the comments to help them improve the game as they move forward, particularly when it comes to the areas of rollercoaster building, according to Gamespot.

Unfortunately, not everyone will be able to take part in the beta for "RollerCoaster Tycoon World."

Only players who have pre-ordered the game will be given access to the beta. Players who may have pre-ordered the game anywhere else other than Steam will still have to go there to activate the key and then download the beta itself afterward.

Those who will be missing out on the upcoming beta for "RollerCoaster Tycoon World" can still catch up, as a second beta for the game is expected to be launched later in November, according to PC Gamer.

"RollerCoaster Tycoon World" will be officially released on Dec. 10.
